Vimto® is a unique mixed fruit juice drink blended with a secret recipe of herbs and spices delivering a wonderful flavour sensation. The distinct blend of herbs and spices still remains a secret to this day.

Vimto® was created in 1908 in Manchester, England, by John Noel Nichols (1883 - 1966) and has since enjoyed over 100 years of success, celebrating its centenary in 2008. The brand was first developed as a tonic with health giving qualities originally selling under the name Vim Tonic (a health tonic that gives vim and vigour), and was later shortened to Vimto®. Since then Vimto® has enjoyed great success overseas and expanded its worldwide distribution into 70+ countries gaining a considerable market share in the Middle East, Far East and Africa.

Vimto® is available in a variety of flavours and formats from carbonate to still to cordial, in bottles, cans and tetra packs, Vimto® still has the same great taste all over the world.

Vimto® International is a division on Nichols plc. Nichols plc is a highly focused soft drinks business. Its brand portfolio in the UK includes Vimto, Sunkist, Panda and Levi Roots. The group has a leading market position in both stills and carbonated drinks categories and also in the soft drinks dispense market, where its brands include Cabana, Ben Shaws and Dayla. Nichols plc has been recognised within the industry with numerous awards. These include awards for its successful marketing campaigns, International trading and company practices.

Vimto® International uses two business models. We export goods that are produced in the UK and Europe to multiple destinations across the globe. Concentrate (flavour) is supplied direct from the UK and rigorous quality checks ensure only the highest standard of product goes to market. Vimto International provides technical assistance and support throughout the start up phase to ensure all Vimto products meet the global standards of taste and quality.
Vimto is known and respected as an international brand and the licensee benefits from direct association. Vimto International invests heavily in the brand through marketing support initiatives providing assistance for in market campaigns and producing point of sale material. This can include posters, ceiling mobiles, shelf strips, stickers and wobblers. Bespoke artworks are also created for specific marketing activities. Vimto® International also produces promotional merchandise for licensees to distribute to customers. Previous promotional material has included keyrings, t-shirts, baseball caps, watches, footballs, bottle openers, pens and glasses.

Vimto International strives to increase the brand presence internationally as we aim to build a sustainable international brand. We understand that local knowledge is key to success and rely on building strong, long term and mutually beneficial partnerships in all markets. For more information please get in touch with us.
