New brand for
Nisa International
Ramsden International is the new brand for
award-winning grocery exporter, Nisa International.
The new identity reflects the company's family
roots, its accomplishments and future development.
The wholesale exporter of British groceries is part
of the Ramsden Group, a Grimsby based family
business that has been trading since 1946. Sean
Ramsden, Managing Director commented: “Our goal is
to build on our success and provide even more choice
to our customers. Ramsden International represents
the next phase for our company.”The new brand was
announced the day HRH The Princess Royal visited the
company's offices to present the business with its
second Queen's Award for Enterprise, International
Trade.

Research on 'country of origin' labelling published
The Food Standards Agency has published new research
about country of origin labelling.The Agency
commissioned a package of research to find out more
about how people understand and use food labels,
including ‘country of origin’ labels. The results
will both improve the information we have on this
subject and also help to inform discussions about a
European proposal on food labelling.
